Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear framework of ethical and professional conduct for all employees and partners of NIKA PHARM SH.P.K., to promote good practices and to guarantee compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kosovo and international requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Scope of the policy
This policy covers all the company's activities and is mandatory for every employee, manager and partner of NIKA PHARM SH.P.K. It aims to promote integrity, honesty, accountability and respect for the law and applicable rules.
Commitment to legal compliance
We are committed to acting in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Kosovo, including but not limited to:
- The law on the Quality and Safety of Pharmaceutical Products
- The law on the Control and Regulation of Medicines
- The law on Employment and Social Insurance
- The law on the Protection of Personal Data
Responsibility of employees and managers
- Awareness and compliance with the law: all employees and managers are required to maintain a high level of knowledge of the legislation and regulations related to the pharmaceutical industry and to ensure that every activity of the company complies with the relevant laws.
- Responsibility for quality and safety: all employees must ensure that the pharmaceutical products distributed are safe and meet the highest standards of quality and safety, respecting the legal requirements set by the competent authorities.
- Protection of personal data: all employees must keep the personal data of customers, patients and business partners confidential, respecting the law on the protection of personal data.
- Fair and honest practices: all employees must respect the principles of honesty and avoid dishonest practices, including corruption, fraud and harmful external influence.
Responsibility of the company
- Training and education: the company provides regular training for all employees on ethics policies and applicable laws, covering public-health protection and product safety.
- Protection for whistleblowers: the company protects any employee who reports acts of corruption, fraud or any violation of this policy, without fear of unfair consequences.
- Review and update: the policy is reviewed and updated in line with changes in legislation, improvements in practice and the company's development.
Prohibited actions
- Corruption and bribery: employees and partners must not engage in giving or receiving bribes, commissions or other unlawful benefits to gain an unfair advantage.
- Improper relationships with customers or competitors: any form of unlawful agreement, abuse of business position or fraud to gain money or privileges is prohibited.
- Breach of quality and safety rules: distributing medicines that are not approved, are unsafe, or have not been stored and transported according to the standards required by the relevant local and international authorities is prohibited.
Consequences and sanctions
Violations of this policy may lead to disciplinary measures, including but not limited to dismissal, monetary penalties and/or suspension of contracts. Serious violations may also lead to reporting such cases to the legal authorities for further investigation.
